SCOTT Presents Team DSM's Bikes and Equipment
SCOTT Sports is proud to support Team DSM’s Men, Women and Development program racing on the highest level with its bikes and helmets in 2021 and beyond.
We are very optimistic that Team DSM’s young and ambitious roster will deliver fast, exciting, and successful racing from the start on our bikes and prove the superiority of our products.

Team Bikes
In pursuit of Grand Tours, classics and sprints success, the team riders can choose between the race-proven ultralight SCOTT Addict RC or the aerodynamic SCOTT Foil. For time trials, Team DSM will ride SCOTT’s Plasma. All bikes come equipped with Syncros components. Learn more about the team bikes of Team DSM.
Graphics
All three bikes come with a unique team-specific paint job. The blue glitter flakes at the front of the frame sparkle in the sun and gradually fade into a mix of raw carbon and black base color. All decals are reflective to ensure better visibility and more security for the riders on their training rides. The result is a very classy-looking race bike with limited usage of paint.
Addict RC - Team Edition
The Addict RC was specifically designed to fit the needs of UCI World Tour teams. Its combination of lightweight, stiffness, integration, and comfort make the ADDICT RC the perfect weapon to strive for glory at Grand Tours and Classics. The frame and fork are built out of HMX SL carbon fiber and come in weighing just 790g for the frame and 320g for the fork.
Team DSM will ride the latest road one-piece cockpit, the Syncros Creston iC SL with intelligent internal cable routing and ergonomic focused design that weighs just 295grams (stem and handlebar). Paired with a Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 electronic drivetrain, Shimano wheels and Vittoria tires, the Addict RC is one strong, light, and efficient race machine making it the bike of choice for riders such as Romain Bardet and Liane Lippert.

Foil RC - Team Edition
SCOTT's award and race-winning Foil received a unique facelift for model year 2021. Keeping the state-of-the-art lightweight and aerodynamic frame as featured in previous versions consolidates the Foil amongst the lightest aero bikes on the market. The Foil is the perfect bike for sprinters. Its lightweight construction gives sprinters the chance to save energy on the way to the finish line before the aerodynamics and stiffness can be unleashed to show its full potential in the final sprint. Like the Addict RC, the Foil comes equipped with the Syncros Creston iC SL handlebar stem combo and features a Shimano groupset and Shimano wheels.

Plasma 5 - Team Edition
For time trials, Team DSM will use the SCOTT Plasma 5. The bike has multiple ITT World Championships and endless Ironman titles to its name and still ticks all the boxes when it comes to the fight against the clock. Every tube of the Plasma 5 is aero optimized and combined with its lightweight construction, this bike is a weapon against the wind. Syncros engineers focused on creating a complete system of base bars, extensions, and saddle positioning to allow for a large range of adjustability to give every rider the chance to find their optimal position.

Equipment - Helmets
Team DSM riders can choose between the SCOTT Centric PLUS or the SCOTT Cadence PLUS helmet for road races and have the SCOTT Split helmet for time trials.
The SCOTT Centric Plus was designed and developed for our world-class road and MTB athletes. The result is the an ideal combination between ventilation, weight, and safety that SCOTT has ever created. The new Centric only weighs 220 grams and is the helmet of choice for mountain stages and hot days in the saddle.
The Cadence PLUS is an aero helmet to its core. This was achieved through optimization of airflow on both the outside and the inside of the helmet. SCOTT’s aero helmet provides the benefits of a MIPS® brain protection system and features a unique construction to further enhance ventilation.
The SCOTT Split is a high-performance aero helmet that was designed specifically with high-speed time trials in mind. It provides minimized drag and great aerodynamic performance in any head position. The integrated SCOTT MIPS® airflow technology offers an extra level of safety and improved cooling properties to let athletes push to their limits.
