SCOTT Sports Sweeps the Podium in Arlington

18 February 2014

SCOTT Sports and Team Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki were back to our old ways this past weekend in Arlington, TX with a podium sweep in the 250 East opener. Adam Cianciarulo grabbed the holeshot, but was quickly overtaken by his teammate Martin Davalos. Close behind the top two was teammate Blake Baggett running in third. Davalos was pulling away when he went down hard in a corner and gave up three positions before he was back in the race. This left the battle for the win between teammates Adam Cianciarulo and Blake Baggett. You could throw a blanket over these two before AC got the upper hand later in the race and was able to claim the main event win. Blake Baggett finished in second and Martin Davalos was able to make his way back into third place after his crash. Adam's win puts the SCOTT 250 class win streak to three following wins by teammates Dean Wilson and Justin Hill in the last west coast rounds. Our guys will look to repeat their performance next week in Atlanta, GA when the gate drops on the floor of the Georgia Dome.
