SCOTT Detroit Race Report
The Streak Continues for SCOTT Sports as Adam Cianciarulo Takes Another East Coast Win
Daytona SX 2014
Supercross returned to the Motor City this past weekend, bringing the excitement of Monster Energy Supercross back to Michigan. SCOTT Sports and Team Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki entered this weekend having not lost a 250 class race since round 4 in Oakland. When the gate dropped for the 250 main it was Martin Davalos with the holeshot, followed by his teammate Adam Cianciarulo. Martin would fall early in the race, handing the lead over to Adam Cianciarulo. Adam rode smooth and precise on the technical Detroit track and was able to secure another win for SCOTT and the 7th win in a row for our brand.
Cianciarulo has extended his points lead and is sitting in a comfortable spot for the title. Blake Baggett made it 2 out of 3 podium spots occupied by SCOTT goggles with a 3rd place finish in the main event.
Team BTO Sports KTM WPS rider Andrew Short put in his best performance of the year with a 4th place finish in the 450 main event. Monster Energy Supercross will move north of the border this weekend and will take it's racing to the people of Toronto. Be sure to tune in Saturday night and catch all of the racing action live on Fox Sports 1.
