Shaun Simpson Joins SCOTT Sports

27 February 2015

An Established Performer

Scottish born, the 26-year old is a fan favorite for the 2015 championship. Debuting his GP career in 2004 at the British Grand Prix in Isle of Wright, Shaun has developed into one of the strongest competitors out of the UK. A proven talent, he finished as the top British rider in last year’s FIM Motocross World Championship. Racing for the Hitachi Construction Machinery Revo KTM UK, expectations are high for Shaun going into the 2015 season.

Joining the SCOTT Team

Having known the SCOTT brand for not only Motocross Shaun is excited to be racing in the Hustle Goggles, a top choice of many SCOTT GP riders. Valuing the technical features and excellent fit of these goggles Simpson is excited to join the SCOTT team;

“I’ve been racing World Championship motocross for 10 years and I know how important a goggle can be. It can come down to being the difference between winning and losing a race. When I wear the SCOTT goggles – I know that I have one of the best goggles on the market and that I will have maximum vision for the whole race” – Shaun Simpson

Looking Forward to Qatar

With the unfortunate conclusion of 2014 with a shoulder injury, Shaun has made full recovery and is ready for this weekend in Qatar. Having already shown success in the pre-season, reaching the podium in Valence, France and winning in Lacapelle Marival, France, he is in top form and eager to begin the competition. We are excited to be working with not only a talented rider but to also a friendly, engaging athlete.
