SCOTT Running Welcomes Jodee Adams-Moore

15 November 2013

Sun Valley, Idaho—SCOTT Sports has announced that athlete Jodee Adams-Moore is joining the SCOTT Running Team. Jodee, a Washington state native started running in the eighth grade when she realized her unique gift for the sport. She went on to compete successfully in high school before running in the collegiate ranks at Georgetown University.

Jodee’s strengths and interest in running have since led her to a less regimented program than what she practiced during her college career. These days Jodee prefers spending her time exploring the many wooded trails near her home in Bellingham, Washington. It’s perhaps no wonder then, that this former track and cross country racer is now turning heads in the competitive trail running world.

Jodee entered her first event as a SCOTT athlete this past weekend, the Bellingham Trail Marathon. Jodee did well,…very well. She won the women’s division handily and took second overall, finishing a mere six minutes behind men’s winner Max Ferguson. In so doing, she set a new course record of 3:25:32, beating the previous best by an astounding thirty-four minutes!

SCOTT Running Director Scott McCoubrey commented, “Jodee is a perfect fit for the SCOTT team.  She is an extremely versatile runner, with a passion for the mountains and running on the trails.  Based on her performance on the Bellingham Marathon course, it should be a blast watching her performances this year.”
