Simona Staicu wins the Budapest Marathon

Once again, Simona Staicu stepped onto the podium this weekend at the Marathon National Championships in Budapest, Hungary. Her victory, in a time of 02:42:26, is particularly impressive after her overall win at the Tour de Tirol just the weekend before.
After over 30 years of running competitions, participating many times in World Championships and even the Olympic Games, Simona Staicu is still a serious contender in long distance races. Congratulations to her!
