The die is cast: TEAM SCOTT for the 2013 GORE TEX® TRANSALPINE RUN will be from Spain!

SCOTT Sports and the SCOTT Running Pro Team, including world champion and professional runner Marco De Gasperi (ITA) and Sage Canaday (USA), have selected the official SCOTT GORE TEX® Footwear Racing team for this year`s competition.
The winners of the 2013 facebook competition get free access for the race and will be fully equipped with SCOTT gear, including a new pair of the SCOTT NAKOA TRAIL GTX® shoes.The enthusiastic team from Candelario, Spain, were surprised when they were contacted by SCOTT Sports: “We are very happy that we have been selected by SCOTT Sports to participate in the TRANSALPINE-RUN 2013. As we said before to you, this is a dream come true for us!” said Roberto. The competition was launched 4 weeks ago on facebook and was promoted on different social media channels. We would like to thank all teams for their participation and wish them all the best for their future sports careers. The decision was not easy, as the quality of applications was remarkable. Nevertheless we think that with Roberto and Andres we have found the perfect team for SCOTT Sports for this year`s GORE TEX® TRANSALPINE RUN.
We wish Roberto and Andres best of luck in their preparations for the race, and we will provide regular updates on how they are getting on during the competition in August.
