Tom Wallisch wins Winter X-Games 2012 in Aspen

30 January 2012

In one of the most heated slope finals in recent history, hosted under the lights, Tom Wallisch threw down the highest scored run in X-Games Slopestyle history.  With a best of three runs format, Tom took an early lead during his first run, only to be pushed out by 17 year old Nick Goepper.  Then, in typical T-Wall fashion, all the stars aligned on his final run. After struggling with it during his first two runs, he was finally able to grease the top wall-ride feature, which no other skiers were even attempting, he then link together the four lower jumps with his signature style.  This win, marks Tom’s third consecutive slopestyle victory this season, all of which were won on his final run.

TW displayed his new signature line ( TW Jib ski, Scream helmet and Tom Wallisch Off-Grid Signature goggle) while throwing down one of the most impressive runs of the year.

Congratulations Tom, from all of us at SCOTT Sports.
