Jonas Hunziker successful at Polish Freeski Open

01 February 2012
Last weekend Europe’s freeskiing community gathered in Zakopane, Poland’s winter capital,  for the Polish Freeski Open. The sunny weather and the perfectly shaped obstacles announced promising action and the riders were eager to unpack their bag of tricks.

For SCOTT’s European Team athlete Jonas Hunziker the long drive definitely paid off as he managed to podium in every category. Jonas proceeded to win the night session with an impressive performance. In the following his huge dub cork 10s, stylish flat 5es or the trick repertoire on rails got him silver for the rail session and bronze in the big air competition.

First place in big air was taken by the Swiss Rico Schuler, second place by Polish athlete SJ Karpiel-Bulecka.
