U.S. Freeskiing Grand Prix Results

21 January 2014

Freeskier athletes from around the world descended upon Park City, Utah last weekend for their last stop on the U.S. Freeskiing Grand Prix tour. Not only was this the last stop on the tour, but also the last chance to gain a spot on the U.S. Olympic Team, Sochi bound in just a few weeks.

With everything at stake all slopestyle and halfpipe competitors went bigger, higher and harder this last weekend at Park City Mountain Resort. This Grand Prix stop was a little different from previous stops because Friday and Saturday were two different events with two different podiums. With competition in the air the crowds cheered and the athletes performed.

Saturday was a big day for SCOTT athletes Keri Herman and Tom Wallisch. Keri Herman placed second in the Women's Slopestyle competition with a 91.80 score and a chance at a spot on the U.S. Olympic team. After Women's Slopestyle the men took the stage and every one put down solid runs. Tom Wallisch was no different with a solid run he placed fourth with a score of 92.80. congrats to both Tom and Keri in their big finishes in Park City.
