Second victory for Lorraine Huber at 4* Freeride World Qualifier event

12 February 2013

After winning in La Clusaz (F)  in mid-january, SCOTT team athlete Lorraine Huber went big with another 4*FWQ win in Hochfügen (AUT) last weekend. With two wins out of three 4* events, Lori confirmed her leading position in the FWQ ranking.

Due to bad weather conditions, the event was postponed until Sunday, but this was no big deal for the Austrian freerider as she scored a run of 79 points riding on her home soil.

A few weeks earlier in France, she skied a fluid and perfectly executed run with three cliff drops and a steep, technical middle section which enabled her to score 88 points and grab first place!

These victories taste sweet, especially after a difficult 11/12 season full of crashes and small injuries. “Now though my hard work and dedication is paying off and I’m so very happy.”, stated Lori on her website. As a matter of fact, with such great results, Lori is already qualified for next year’s Freeride World Tour! Congrats!
