Chavanel Joins IAM Cycling Roster

Though 2013 is far from over, nevertheless the planning for 2014 is well underway.  Living by the motto “those who do not move forward move backward”, IAM Cycling has decided to optimize it’s roster to meet future challenges, even though the team feels pleased with its debut season.

Situated just outside Salt Lake City, UT, Miller Motorsports Park was the site of the first-ever Lucas Oil Pro Motocross race in the state.  The penultimate round of the 12 race series took place under sunny skies and high temperatures.  SCOTT athletes in both the 250MX and 450MX classes rose to the occasion, with two riders grabbing spots on the podium and many others grabbing top ten finishes.

Saturday, August 17th was a victorious day for Ian Sharman and SCOTT Sports! Facing his third 100 mile race this summer, Ian headed to Leadville, CO to win the prestigious Leadville 100.

Victory for Adrien Briffod in ITU European Cup

Scott-sponsored triathlete Adrien Briffod won the ITU European Cup for Juniors in Tiszaujvaros, Hungary, in a dramatic sprint finish on Sunday. His victory qualifies him for the World Championships in London in September.

For the first time in his career, Belgian Clement Desalle won his first ever Home-GP, and collected in Bastogne his third MX1 GP win this season, the second in a row after his success in Czech Republic two weeks ago. In the MX2 class, Jordi Tixier confirmed with a second position his rank in the standings.

Second GP win this season for Clement Desalle

Five months after his triumph during the opening round of the MX1 World Championship in Qatar, Clement Desalle got another GP win in Czech Republic. The Belgian rider scored a double win, while Dutch teenager Jeffrey Herlings claimed his second MX2 World title.
