- The SCOTT Tago Plus is an all-round, do-it-all trail helmet that is at home on the toughest uphills as well as on the steep downhills. Compatible with goggles and sunglasses, it is the perfect choice for trail and all-mountain terrain. It is partially made from recycled materials. The EPS foam and straps are fully recycled.

MIPS® Safety System
The brain is typically more sensitive to rotational motion than linear motion because it has shear properties similar to water or gel. When different parts of the brain move relative to each other because of rotational motion, the tissues can stretch, which can cause concussions or other brain injuries.
Rotational motion is a common cause of concussions and more severe brain injury in oblique hits to the head. The Mips® safety system consists of a low friction layer mounted inside the helmet. In a crash, the low friction layer is designed to move slightly inside the helmet to help redirect forces away from the head. This is intended to help reduce the risk of brain injury.
A SAFETY SYSTEM THAT MIMICS THE BRAIN
Unlike traditional helmets, which are mainly designed and tested for straight impacts, the Mips® safety system’s low-friction layer mimics the brain’s own system for protection against rotational motion.
STRAIGHT VS ANGLED IMPACTS
Traditional helmets are designed for straight impacts, but most impacts are angled.
The low friction layer is designed to reduce the rotational force of angled impacts.

Extended Coverage
Medical research helped us to highlight key areas of vulnerability on the head. Our helmet are designed with extensive lower coverage to protect these key areas.
Goggles Compatible
The helmet ensures a good match with goggles.
Ventilation channels are dispatched over the goggles for a good ventilation and to avoid fogging issues.
A silicon grip is located at the back of the helmet so the goggle strap remains in the good position.
