Pontetorto is well known for producing premium quality knit fabrics in Italy. In 1985they were the first mill in Europe to develop a range of Pile fleece fabrics for activewear. Founded in 1952 by the Banci family, Pontetorto is now managed by thesecond generation.

The bluesign® certified company with its forward looking attitude has strongengagement in the protection of the environment. Safeguarding the environment anddeveloping a strong ecological awareness are perceived as a social responsibility.

A photovoltaic panel system installed at the plant generates energy and ensuresthat Pontetorto is 95% energy self-sufficient. Additionally, it has become standardpractice for Pontetorto to use low impact chemicals in the production process.

We use PONTETORTO wool knits in our midlayer range.
