The wild Ardèche by mountain-bike
The impressive feeling when mighty steep walls tower over you, or when you marvel at the depths of the canyons from above... It is then that you know you are in the Ardèche.
Here the austere beauty of the Cevennes, marked by steep gorges and plateaus, mixes with the southern charm of Provence. The Domaine du Frigoulet hotel, an 18th-century farmhouse, blends seamlessly into this natural paradise. SCOTT has been a partner for several decades, and so you will always find the latest generation bikes here as well. The trails through the wild nature are from easy to challenging and always offer spectacular natural scenery. All tours are offered from the hotel in different performance-level groups.
Basic knowledge of mountain biking technique is important, but also experts will find a challenge for themselves on the appropriate trails in the Ardèche. The tours take place in mixed groups between e-bikers and traditional bikers.

Program
Discover the wild Ardèche by mountainbike. In different groups, the Frigoulet guides lead you over the best trails to the most beautiful places in the region.
Depending on the day and the group, the tours cover a distance of about 25 to 45 kilometers.
The Bikeguide team welcomes you at an aperitivo in the evening.
Today we want to get to know each other. All groups begin the tour together. After the first trails, you will have the opportunity to join your desired group.
Today's trails take us past various dolmens and tombs built from large stone blocks 5000 years ago, before we enjoy the fantastic view over the impressive Ardèche Gorge.
Today's tour leads to the high plateau of the Ardèche, and then over one of the longest trails of the region over 6.5 km to the course of the river Ardèch.
Today you have the choice. Either you hone your bike technique on our own skills park, or you line up trail after trail on our two-hour single trail loop.
Afternoon at leisure.
A canoe tour with transport from the hotel is possible today.
On this tour, the south of France will be at your feet. With a fantastic view we bike over the ridge of the Col de la Cize, before the flowy Nougattrail brings us back to the hotel.
Today's final tour takes us through a single trail maze surrounded by dense bushes. Again and again, the forest clears, allowing us to enjoy a fantastic view of the gorge of the river Ardèche. In the afternoon we let the bike week come to an end with a cool beer.
The Globetrotter team will be happy to advise you for a further trip to another area.
