L’attraversamento dell’Antartide era parte dell’impresa Pole 2 Pole di Horn, la circumnavigazione del globo da polo a polo su terra e mare, coprendo 24.000 miglia e visitando sei continenti. Horn è partito lo scorso maggio, navigando da Monaco alla Namibia.
