Team France and their three Kawasaki riders won for the second time in history. In the 68th edition of this amazing race, the Motocross of Nations, Steven Frossard, Dylan Ferrandis and Gautier Paulin were the strongest of the weekend, beating teams Belgium and USA in Kegums (Latvia).

Tornando all'ultimo GP solo due mesi dopo essersi rotto una gamba, il campione del mondo in carica Jeffrey Herlings ha fatto del suo meglio per difendere i suoi 26 punti di vantaggio, ma Jordi Tixier era più forte che mai e gli ha soffiato il titolo con la sua seconda vittoria del GP di questa stagione.
