ATLET: Two Swiss Champions and two Vice-champions

It was a successful day for the four members of the Scott-sponsored team ATLET who participated in the Swiss Duathlon Championships in Zofingen on Sunday May 13th.
Sylvain Fridelance and Adrien Briffod came away with the title of Swiss Champion in their respective categories, while Valentin Fridelance and Marine Antille took silver in their races.
It was the young triathletes’ first opportunity to test their Scott Foil bikes in competition, and they were delighted with how the bikes handled on the windy and technical course.
Competing in the Youth (16 and 17 years) categories, Sylvain and Marine completed a 1km run – 5km bike – 1km run – 5km bike – 1km run.
In the Juniors category Adrien was victorious over a 4km run – 16km bike – 4km run, while Valentin, in the Under-23s, covered the same course as Adrien but with an additional bike leg and run leg.
With four podiums at the Swiss Duathlon Championships under their belts, our athletes are ready to attack the upcoming triathlon season…!
