Comfort meets control: The Scott Ransom delivers across the board
‘Sit down and feel good’ sums up the impression after the first descent perfectly. The Scott Ransom conveys control and safety from the very first meter. Thanks to decent pressure on the front wheel, it generates a lot of grip and very direct handling without feeling twitchy. Especially in fast passages or when pushing through corners, the Scott remains predictable and confident, offering plenty of resistance without harsh feedback.
The good mix of efficiency and comfort is striking – despite a tendency towards a firm basic setup, the suspension responds sensitively and remains unfazed on course in both fast and blocked sections. The balance between front and rear can be described as extremely successful – and that's without a lot of fiddling around with the setup in the car park.
