Fantastic Performances from our SCOTT Running Athletes this weekend!

11 五月 2022

It has been a very exciting weekend for our SCOTT running athletes! Competing both on road and trail in various races internationally, they showed the incredible strength of the black and yellow team.

Firstly, we had Sarah Lagat and Benard “Chebasa” Koech competing in the 5km and 20km road races in Lausanne, Switzerland. After standing on the podium on Saturday in the 5km race, Sarah also dominated the 20km finishing in 2nd place. With Chebasa finishing 4th, we are proud of the team‘s result and look forward to seeing what these two and the rest of the Braveheart Runners team will show us this season! If you haven’t checked out the story yet, make sure to do so here

Secondly, our international trail athlete, Iris Pessey, kicked-off this weekend with the Skyrunner Worldseries at the Skyrace Des Matheysins in France. Iris finished 2nd and in her words: “I don't think I could have asked for a better way to kick off the season” – We completely agree! Adding to the successful team result, French athlete Gautier Airiau also finished 2nd!

Thirdly, our newly signed athlete Darío Moitoso powered into the season at the Ultra Blue Island in Portugal where he crossed the line in 1st place, he is confirming his strong form and his position as one of the best trail runners in his home country.

In addition to the above, French athlete Anne-Lise Rousset won at the Trail Naploéon in Corsica.

What a weekend that was for SCOTT running. We are proud and astonished by the strength, motivation and dedication from each and everyone on the black and yellow team!
