Reinaldo Colucci wins 70.3 Pucon

Colucci, the 2010 Pucon champion and a 2012 London Olympian, finished in 4:04:12 and outsprinted Argentina-born Italian Daniel Fontana, the 2005 and 2011 Pucon champion, by 3 seconds. Chile’s Felipe Van de Wyngard took the final spot on the podium in a time of 4:08:43.

Erwin was more than a mechanic of our world champion and for the successful SCOTT-Swisspower Team, he was the glue that kept the program together, the rock on which the Team could rely.

The rain soaked course in Surrey, BC placed a premium on bike handling, tactics, and raw power. Kabush, a cagey, jack-of-all-trades bike racer sized up the field during the first couple laps before finding his way to the front.
