Shortly after joining the SCOTT Running international team, Andy SYMONDS confirmed a solid yet smart come back into the skyrunning scene. Willing to test his abilities Andy first focused on the Skyrunner France series before hitting international races again. Having won the last stage being the Serre Che Trail, Andy brings home the 2015 Skyrunner France series title as well.
Beyond world class performances delivered by some of the best skyrunners from around the globe, Ultraks resulted once more in a fantastic event. Stunning weather, warm temperatures and unique high alpine landscapes around Matterhorn made for lifelong lasting memories.
Marco De Gasperi, SCOTT Running athlete and 6 times World Mountain Running Champion achieved on Wednesday July 16th 2015 his childhood dream of establishing a new FKT (Fastest Known Time) of 6h43’52” to run up Mont Blanc from Courmayeur and back.

After years of racing at international level for years in orienteering, François GONON was ready for a new challenge. While still competing in the Orienteering World Cup, he decided to get involved in a few trail running races as well as the very specific Vertical Kilometer discipline. He was right.
