Mike Horn teams up with Norwegian explorer Børge Ousland to pursue his Pole2Pole expedition in 2019. Their goal: to cross the Arctic Ocean via the North Pole and join the archipelago of Svalbard in Norway (1500km) before the winter season starts.
Last weekend, the 23rd of Sept, our SCOTT Athlete and good friend Hélias received in Ladek, Poland, the 2018 Piolet d’Or for his achievements in climbing a new Route up to Nuptse, a 7861m summit located in Nepal.

SCOTT Freeski athletes Sam Cohen and McKenna Peterson, had eyes on a Spring trip to Alaska for the 2017 season. However, with a strange wind event destroying the snow pack in early January along most of the coastal mountain ranges in well-known areas such as Haines, the team was forced to look deeper.
This season was the girls‘ season on the Freeride World Tour. The SCOTT girls Lorraine Huber (AUT), Arianna Tricomi (ITA) and Jackie Paaso (US) have pushed their and the sport‘s limits to new levels. Never have so much style, ballsy line choices and strong skiing been seen on the tour. In the end it was one who was most hungry and after two seasons of battling injuries, it is very well deserved!
Brilliant sunshine and great performance from SCOTT freeride team marked the first part of the Freeride World Tour in Vallnord, Andorra. Two events are done and lots of medals have been given out!
After 57 days and 5100km, on the 7th of February at 22:50 UT Mike Horn reaches the end of the Antarctic Continent! The traverse of Antarctica is part of Horn's Pole 2 Pole journey to circumnavigate the globe from pole to pole, over land and sea, covering 24,000 miles and visiting six continents. Horn began last May, sailing from Monaco to Namibia.
