SCOTT Technical Services Workshop is our Global Bike Mechanic Training Education System, where we develop Dealer & Technician Training Programs in India. The workshops have been designed on global standards keeping local challenges intact, so that our esteemed customers can experience premium and consistent services at a SCOTT Technology Center.

SCOTT Technical Services Workshops have trained 100+ technicians in India over the last 10 years, aiming to provide exceptional after sales services through developing world-class maintenance and repair skills and creating professional technicians ready to solve all technical issues. This is in line to our no shortcuts approach of doing things the right way for the right reasons.

Our bikes are constantly changing with our promise of keeping Innovation, Design and Technology at the helm of everything we do to bring you the best of bikes. These changes bring about a requirement for technical handling of such products and so our aim is to constantly update the knowledge of our mechanics and technicians in India too. And the SCOTT Technical Services Workshops are designed to enhance the technician’s existing skills as well as enable them to handle newer technologies and methods to further enhance our customer’s biking experience.

We follow a 5 step process:

1. KNOWLEDGE EVALUATION

We evaluate the existing knowledge through a Q&A session followed by a practical session.

Every technician is at a different level and it is important to first evaluate the need so as to focus on the objective.

2. KNOWLEDGE SHARING

Post the evaluation we alter every presentation basis our observation and take them through a customized session so as to make it as knowledgeable and a truly learning experience. Practical sessions are also added to the mix.

3. ASSESMENT

After every session the technician is assessed on their understanding basis a brief quiz.

4. FEEDBACK

Basis the above our Product Team shares a brief feedback covering weak points to improve, additional tools required, additional training or follow up sessions are conducted if required.

5. CERTIFICATION

After completion of the workshop, a dealer store is awarded a SCOTT Technical Services Certificate basis the standards met during the session.
