For the 2025 edition of the camp, SCOTT Sports brought in Vinny T and Scotty Laughland. Together with Rob Heran, the camp leader and SCOTT ambassador, they dived right into a week packed with riding, learning, and a good dose of fun (and chaos!) both on and off the bikes.
For the past few years, the camp has found its home in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Austria, a dream destination for any mountain biker. The area offers an incredible network of trails stretching across multiple peaks, all connected by lifts and gondolas. From smooth beginner flow lines to full-on freeride and downhill tracks, Saalbach has it all. This variety lets each group tailor their daily rides to the right skill level, weather, and preferred trail style.
Of course, the camp is all about bikes, but it’s also so much more. Off the trails, the kids get to build their soft skills through team challenges, creative games, and friendly competitions. With the coaches keeping spirits high, the energy throughout the week is contagious; motivation, laughter, and stoke levels are always off the charts.
One of the key ingredients that makes this camp such a success every single year is the mutual respect between the kids and coaches. That bond of trust is what makes the whole week work. The kids need to believe in their coaches’ tips and feedback, while the coaches have to trust that the group rides responsibly and looks out for each other on the trails. Without that connection, the magic wouldn’t happen.

“One session I remember vividly was on the big drop at the bottom of X-Line, a five-meter wooden ‘north shore’-style drop with a steep landing. The kids had been talking about it all week, and most of them ended up hitting it! Watching them work it out together, encouraging each other, was just awesome. The PBC Summer Camp in Saalbach-Hinterglemm is the perfect place for any young rider who wants to take their skills to the next level, learn from expert coaches, and soak up a week full of fun, progression, and good vibes.
