- One of the most innovative features on the SCOTT Foil is our patented new carbon seatpost, the Duncan SL Aero CFT. It features a two-pieces profile with the front part flexing under load or on rougher surfaces to deliver maximum comfort. We’ve added the option to install an integrated rechargeable light in place of the cover while maintaining the aerodynamic profile of the post.

SL Carbon Layup
The Syncros superlight SL Line uses the highest quality carbon fibre and construction techniques to produce components that are on average 10% lighter while maintaining the same performance and durability characteristic. These race bred components represent the absolute top of the range, designed specifically for SCOTT RC bikes.
Carbon UD
The foundation of our carbon components are our fibres. At Syncros we mainly use unidirectional carbon fibres. These show more tensile strength and modulus than woven carbon patterns. (Tensile strength is the amount of force needed to cause the fibres to break, while the tensile modulus is a measure of the carbon fibre's stiffness). This gives us the ability to produce very light carbon products and to be one of the innovation leaders in the industry.
