Brendan Fairclough's Sea Otter 4X Bike
20 April 2012

The bike is a SCOTT Voltage FR with a shorter custom shock to run less travel which is necessary for the tight turns on the Sea Otter course.

The rear mech features the new Shadow+ chain stabilisation system.

The new lightweigh brakes.

There aren't many other ways to make our Voltage FR look more fun to ride than it already does.

The calipers have larger pistons for improved braking power. They are bolted onto the Voltage FR's IDS dropouts.

This shorts IDS dropouts shorten the bike's wheel base giving Brendan the ability to rip corners more easily.

The new cranks and brand new pedals fit perfectly with the E13 guide.

The brand new SPD pedals are thin and wide for maximum grip.

Pinkbike put it perfectly "Watches, Chocolate and Hubs. The Swiss know what's good."

More shiny metal to drool over.

The new Saint group set are as premium as you can get. This set up including the DT Swiss EX1350 wheels and the First Ride Hans Dampf tires, bolted to our flagship Freeride bike, the Voltage FR, will give Brendan the perfect weapon for the race.
