THE FANS
Frankly, there is no better place to kick off a World Cup season than Nové Město in the Czech Republic. An ever present characteristic of this MTB mecca is the fan base- boy do the Czechs love them some Cross Country.
LINE SPOTTING
The Czech capital of Cross country is home to a classic cross country course. Technical climbs and rock gardens make this course a spectators dream. For the riders, dream may not be the best word, challenge might be better.
THE FIRST BIG BATTLE
Nové Město has always been good to Nino. With back to back wins heading into 2015, the pre-race favorite was in for a battle with the local hero, Jaroslav Kulhavy. They would go back and forth all day long, with Kulhavy just edging out Nino on the last lap.
