BACK IN THE JERSEY

2015 was a memorable year for #NINO. Having won his 4th XCO World Championship, and once again taking the Overal World Cup Title, 2015 will go down as one of the most successful competitive years in history for an MTB athlete. We now look back at every acceleration, every pedal thrust, and every fist pump that brought Nino back to the top.

The Mental Game

The struggle that goes on between your ears may be one of the most profound for each race. Pre-race can be just as difficult as post. Dealing with the butterflies, getting into cut-throat competition mood, getting off the line fastest- all demanding both physically and mentally. During the race, managing attacks, handling mistakes, getting back when you fall behind- everything is a test of both mind and body.

RACING WITH JULIEN

As in years past, this year blessed us with many battles between Nino and the best mountain biker of all time- Julien Absalon. For N1NO, beating him is the best feeling.

Having gone toe to toe on countless occasions, Nino thinks that Julien is not only one hell of a competitor, but he is an overall great guy and a very fair athlete. It is a pleasure to watch these two go at it.

WELL DONE, N1NO!
