Founded 14 years ago by Clark Butcher, Victory has flourished by prioritizing the rider experience and delivering top-tier service. The shop is famous for its commitment to building realationships—and for hosting massive Sunday rides that bring together over 200 cyclists!
With a dedicated team of five full-time and two part-time employees, Victory supports riders both in and out of the shop. What began as a modest 550 sq. ft. space has now expanded into an impressive 4,700 sq. ft. store, complete with an online fulfillment center in Asheville, NC. Victory Bicycle Studio is not just a bike shop—it’s redefining the cycling culture in Memphis and beyond.

What set’s your store apart?
Our service. It's simply unparalleled. I am not talking about the service you get upon entering the store, I am talking about the follow-up, the post purchase engagement. I always tell customers "I don't want a sale, I want a customer." It's that quote that sets the tone. I built this business around relationships, and it's relationships that have made us successful over the past 14 years.

What do you specialize in?
Bike Fittings. We start every new bike purchase with a fitting. Sure, like many shops we end with a fitting, but unlike most shops - we start with a fitting and consultation. This slows the process down, managing the customer that it's going to be a process - and typically they like it. It shows our investment in them, before they invest in us. All I need them to do is go to any other "bike shop," and within minutes they will realize...."hey, those guys at Victory really care." And all of this ties back to my quote "Choose your bike shop, not your bike."

What do you like working with SCOTT bikes?
The same reason consumers like working with me and my team - the service! The service and support I get with SCOTT is another level. We carry 17-20 bike brands, and SCOTT consistently proves to be the most efficient. From the top-down. I mean it! If I need an answer, my outside sales rep will either answer (on weekends too!) or connect me with someone who knows the answer. Unlike many brands, I rarely have to follow-up (for my Type A personality, this is huge!) as Scott only wants us to sell more bikes, keeping more customers happy. I really consider our brands to be aligned. I care more about the post-sale communication, and so does SCOTT. Everyone can show up and be great when times are good, but it's how a company reacts at the time of a crisis that matters most.
