The GP of Italy was a popular event, numerous fans visited Maggiora creating a unique atmosphere at last weekend’s GP. Swiss rider, Arnaud Tonus collected his fourth consecutive podium in the MX2 class, and is a strong second in the series.

Winner of his third GP in Saint Jean d’Angely, Clement Desalle has had a successful month of May. Having won five of the last six MXGP heats he is now only twenty points behind Cairoli in the series. With another MX2 podium, Arnaud Tonus consolidates his second position in the standings.

Both runner ups during the Grand Prix of Great Britain this weekend in Matterley Basin, Clement Desalle and Arnaud Tonus consolidate their second positions in the World Championships. They will now move to France and Saint Jean d’Angely for the ninth round of the series.

Winner of the Spanish Grand Prix this weekend in Talavera de la Reina, Belgian’s Clement Desalle, claimed his second MXGP win. Matching the results in Italy Desalle was alongside two fellow countrymen on a 100% Belgian podium. In the MX2 class Jeffrey Herlings was successful once again, standing in first on the podium with Dylan Ferrandis and Arnaud Tonus.

Reigning World Champions Jeffrey Herlings and Antonio Cairoli won the sixth round of the FIM Motocross World Championship, organised on the sandy track of Valkenswaard (Netherlands). Jordi Tixier claimed a third place podium finish in the MX2 GP, where three Scott athletes are in the top five of the World Championship.

This weekend Clement Desalle claimed his first GP of the season in Arco Di Trento. The win moves him into the runner up position in the series, behind Antonio Cairoli. In the MX2 class Arnaud Tonus remains leader of the series with a second position in Italy.

The 2014 Grand Prix of Brazil is marked as a special day for Arnaud Tonus and for all Swiss fans. The CLS Kawasaki rider won his first ever GP and is leading the MX2 World Championship. Making history, Tonus is the first Swiss rider to win a MX2 GP.
