The glitter in his eyes when he opened up to me and shared his memories from the past were extremely touching and inspiring. Some men want power, other want money, Marco seeks only redemption.

While mountains have been his playground, a way of experiencing life and expressing himself, they haven’t always been kind to his passion and dreams.

As he was still a teenager, he was denied the entry to his dream race, for which he however had qualified in due form. An unfair decision to this passionate boy who rightfully had proven his abilities, and yet that rigid regulation system brutally stopped his momentum towards higher grounds. By the time he was old enough to part take in it, the race longer existed, and forever his dream taken away from him. Forever? Not quite.

BOY MOUNTAIN DREAMS is a way for Marco to achieve what he was refused so many years ago and come at peace with his past. The first door he opened on an upward journey down to his past was climbing the highest peak of the valley he lives in, Mount Ortles, he first summited at the age of 13.
