Goggles for Docs
Goggles for Docs
Goggles for Docs is an effort to get used or new ski goggles into the hands of healthcare workers who currently have no eye protection as they treat COVID-19 patients.
Dear SCOTT Family,
Watching the world band together during these times of uncertainty is quite incredible. With personal protective equipment in high demand for medical professionals, Goggles for Doctors was formed to create a supply chain for our brave men and women on the front line protecting their communities. Join us in supporting this program and donating spare goggles if you have them. One pair could mean the difference.
Visit their website for more information on how to donate your goggles:

Frequently Asked Questions
How did this start?
The original request came by way of an ER physician who is a department head at a large NYC hospital ED. His aunt is a race coach who works at Catamount Ski Area. Goggles for Docs created a share system whereby the hospitals add themselves to a master list to request goggles.
Tinted or clear lenses?
Either work! Dark lenses are better than a COVID cough to the face.
Used or new goggles?
Most of these goggles will be used, but they welcome new goggles as well. Again, used lenses are better than a COVID cough to the face.
What guidelines should I follow to donate safely?
Be sure to follow These guidelines if you drop off or mail goggles.

What the Doctors are Saying
"I am at MetroWest Medical Center working for the ED Physician group. He have begun to receive goggle donations. Thank you so very much to all those who are sending in goggles. We really appreciate the speed in which this is happening and for people’s generosity!"
"We received the goggles today. I am going to see if our team needs any, and then send the rest for distribution in the ED and storeroom supply. This is a tremendous gift and will serve us well as we care for our patients."
"We have 31 ED residents at our hospital. Supplies are scarce and we can use all the help we can get."
"We as anesthesia providers are at the frontlines of managing patients with COVID-19; we are called to placing breathing tubes and are in the airway and directly exposed to this virus many times every day. Please help us stay safe."
