Pourcel podiums

Round three of the MX World Championship held in Portugal this last weekend was blessed with dry conditions, a welcome break after the rain-soaked GPs of Holland and Spain. Seb Pourcel showed up hungry for a win and was dominant all weekend. He was extremely fast in the free practice sessions and took the pole on Saturday, putting him in a great position for success on Sunday. On Sunday Pourcel showed the same speed he had in practice and finished 2 – 1 for the day, giving him his first GP win of the season. Josh Coppins, fighting through injuries suffered in a preseason crash, posted a 5-3 finish; good enough for third overall.

For the next GP round the series heads to Bulgaria which is also the opening round of the FIM Women MX World Championship. Scott sponsored riders Livia Lancelot and Katherine Prumm will be competing for the FIM Women MX World Championship title.
