Athlete talk

What is your all-time favourite riding destination?

Whistler with the crew is pretty tough to beat.

What "No Shortcuts" means to you

Give it your all. Know that you haven't left anything out there.

What do you get up to when you’re not doing bikes?

When I was racing so much, I just loved normal stuff like the beach, few drinks and seeing friends away from riding and travelling. I definitely enjoy golf when I am not riding these days.

Outside of cycling, where do you draw inspiration from?

I am inspired by top performing athletes in all disciplines. I know what it takes and sacrifices that go into it, so watching people bring out the best in themselves inspires me.

You’re stranded on a desert island. What three things would you want with you?

My girlfriend, my dog and a beer. Granted there is food on this Island…

If you could put up a billboard to be seen by countless people every day, what would you put on it?

Have an open mindset, try be kind to others along the way and don’t forget to ENJOY THE RIDE.
